Heroes

So I wanted to write something about my latest TV show love since last Monday...and here I go *g*. It's "Heroes" which I bought on DVD lately - just because of Zachary Quinto.
Of Quinto I know for some time; he plays the young Spock on the new Star Trek movie which comes out on May 7th here in Germany. I can't wait...YIKES! I know how he looks like from quite a few pics I have gathered since 2007....and since then, he's already my favorite under the new actors for STAR TREK. But I never saw him play, so I bought the first season of "Heroes" on DVD this week...and I'm almost finished with watching it already.
It's really interesting and very suspensive...but unfortunately, also quite violent.
Of course, as expected, Zachary - playing Sylar (aka Gabriel Gray) - is my favorite. It really gives me the creeps how he plays that nice inconspicuous Mama's boy who turns into a serial killer with multiple powers...*shivers* He does a great job on that one...and he looks great, too *smiles*. But I think, he, Sylar, needs to fall in love - just to realize that he can do good with his powers and not only evil!
From the other characters, I like Hiro and Ando most (but not the "Future-Hiro"!) so far. Hiro has a great heart and uses to be optimistic about his mission, and Ando is always supporting him.
I like Claire Bennet and Micah Sanders as well - but no so much their parents. Nathan Petrelli scares me....booo. I don't know exactly what to think of Matt Parkman and Mr. Bennet...and with Peter Petrelli it's interesting and depending. Dr. Suresh is also someone I don't know for sure what he's up to....but the actor is quite surely very handsome *gg*. Nicki and Jessica Sanders are not that interesting to me, and her handsome husband seems to have been killed in the last episode I saw...ugh. And I really don't like Nathan's and Peter's mom....what a bitch! As for Mr. Linderman (or whatever he's called)....evil, evil....arrgh!
But maybe that's all just for now...hehe. It's just the first season...
I bought the second Season this week as well, so I have makeup supply *grins*
Well, I must say, what impresses me most about this show is SYLAR!!! (Shame on me that I like the contrast and the coincidence between beauty and viciousness...*g*)
Ok....I'm off watching the next episode....

Space 1999

Hab mich soeben entschlossen, hier auch in Deutsch zu schreiben...manchmal ist das einfacher und angebrachter.
Ich sehe schon gerade, ich vermisse hier die Smileys...hmm. Find' ich nicht so gut.
Zur Zeit gucke ich beim Radeln "Space 1999", eine sagenhafte SF-Serie aus den 70ger Jahren. Habe damals auch einige Folgen davon im TV gesehen, und die sind mir positiv im Gedächtnis geblieben.

This is my first post here. It's January 11th 2009, and tonight are the Golden Globe Awards - in Germany at 2 p.m. on TV. But I can't watch it because I have to work tomorrow....*sniff*.
"Revolutionary Road" is nominated as best picture, and also Leonardo is nominated for best actor in a dram as well as Kate Winslet, his co-star, as best actress. I'm sooo excited to go watch this movie next Thursday, January 15, when it arrives in German cinemas!

Leo says, he hasn't any shooting movie plans for this year...hmm...not sure what that means. At least we'll see him, again, on the big screen in this year in "Shutter Island" which I'm already looking forward to.
Ok....so much for my first blog here *smiles*
